The Network is honored to announce that CEO Reuben Rotman was a featured speaker at the esteemed European Annual Conference on Jewish Social Welfare, held in Rome, Italy, from November 24–26, 2024. The conference, co-hosted by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (The Joint) and the European Council of Jewish Communities (ECJC), brought together leaders and practitioners from around the globe to discuss key issues facing Jewish communities.
Rotman’s presentation, titled “A Framework for Mapping Need,” provided valuable insights into how The Network has supported communities across the United States in identifying and addressing critical social service challenges. By sharing innovative strategies for mapping community needs, allocating resources, and building impactful partnerships, Rotman offered attendees actionable frameworks they could apply in their own communities.
His participation in the event highlights The Network’s growing leadership in Jewish social welfare and its influential role in shaping global conversations on community support. “This opportunity allowed us to strengthen international connections, broaden our resources, and expand the reach of our work to advance Jewish social welfare on a global scale,” Rotman said.
