In an age marked by crises—environmental disasters, acts of violence, and rampant antisemitism—the need for compassionate caregiving has never been more urgent. Caregivers, from social workers to rabbis and chaplains, are often at the forefront of guiding individuals through these overwhelming events. But how can we, as caregivers, remain resilient in the face of trauma and offer comfort to those in need while preserving our own strength?

The Infinite Kindness: Healing in the Face of Crisis, Trauma, and Antisemitism program seeks to equip caregivers with the tools to respond with compassion and resilience. This powerful series brings together community leaders, social workers, rabbis, chaplains, and poets to explore how to care for others—and ourselves—through difficult times.

The program will address several critical topics, including:

  • Crisis and Disaster Response: Learning how to approach and respond to environmental and man-made crises.
  • Understanding Trauma: Discovering how trauma shapes individuals and communities and how trauma-informed care can offer comfort.
  • Addressing Antisemitism: Exploring the emotional and mental health impacts of the growing epidemic of antisemitism and how to support Jewish communities.
  • Self-Care: Developing strategies to ensure caregivers can recharge and continue providing care with resilience, using tools like prayer, art, and poetry.
