On February 28th, The Network hosted a highly successful Jewish Disability Advocacy Day 2024: Ensuring We All Flourish! This virtual program focused on education, advocacy, empowerment, and impact, drawing participation from over 600 individuals eager to engage with elected officials, community members, and peers. Representing The Network were Roselle Ungar (JFS New Orleans), Todd Schenk (JSSA of Greater DC), and a client from one of our member agencies, ETTA.

The event provided valuable opportunities for advocacy, particularly in support of the SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act. Additionally, attendees had the privilege of hearing from a diverse lineup of individuals with disabilities who spoke passionately of their own experiences.
