SUMMARY:Sacred Spaces: Aging Partner Cohort info session
DESCRIPTION:Sacred Spaces is expanding the Seivah: Sacred Aging cohort model with a new offering centered on partnership. We recognize no single organization can meet the growing needs of older adults alone. Meaningful collaboration is essential\, and this cohort is built with that reality in mind. \nWith generous support from the Sephardic Foundation on Aging\, professionals from Jewish organizations that serve older Jewish adults are invited to apply in pairs\, two individuals from different organizations in the same geographic area. Individuals may also partner with someone from a secular organization\, as long as the collaboration focuses on preventing and responding to elder abuse in the Jewish community. \nThis virtual cohort will bring together 4–6 pairs to strengthen individual capacity and build a more coordinated community response\, with the goal of helping Jewish adults age with dignity\, autonomy\, and safety. \nParticipants will engage in:\n• Expert-led sessions on elder abuse prevention and response \n• A peer-based community of practice \n• An optional joint project\, supported by a $1600 stipend \nTogether\, the cohort will explore:\n• How to recognize signs of elder abuse and neglect\, and understand barriers to disclosure \n• Jewish texts and values that can ground prevention efforts \n• Ways to strengthen coordination\, referrals\, and shared approaches locally \n• Opportunities to build collaborative strategies tailored to each community \nThe cohort will run from June 2026 through February 2027. \nRegister here to learn more about joining this cohort of learning sessions. \n

SUMMARY:NETGroup: Housing
DESCRIPTION:Topic: Addressing Housing Costs \nHow is your agency addressing the various costs of housing through the services you offer? Join colleagues from across The Network to discuss the costs associated with housing\, including rent\, repairs\, and different financial models and planning for operations and services. Through sharing how different agencies are approaching housing costs\, we hope to gain insights\, ideas\, and best practices that we can take back and share with our teams to better help clients in need. \n \nThis program is made possible by the generous support of CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services)\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps thousands of nonprofits in the U.S. and Canada thrive through impactful fundraising services. CARS offers Network member agencies access to revenue-generating non-cash giving programs\, including vehicle and real estate donations\, at no cost to enroll.

SUMMARY:Stand Out - The Art of Interview Preparation
DESCRIPTION:Most people walk into interviews hoping they’ll say the right thing. The people who get hired don’t hope – they prepare with intention. \nIn this workshop\, Sarah Gurwitz will provide you with ways to prepare for an interview. You will learn how to prepare to tell your story in a way that makes employers remember you. We will discuss how to answer those tough questions without freezing up\, and how to walk in with the kind of confidence that comes from actually being ready – not just ‘winging it.’ \nA great interview isn’t about having perfect answers. It’s about showing clear value\, real thinking\, and strong communication. That is what we’re going to build here – step by step – so when your opportunity comes\, you don’t just show up… you stand out. \nThere will be 20 minutes of open networking with fellow job seekers after the presentation.

SUMMARY:NETGroup: Evaluation Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Topic: Build Smarter Programs: Integrating Evaluation for Stronger Outcomes and Funding \nWe will be joined by Scott Green\, CEO and Co-founder of The G2 Consulting Group\, who will speak about the topic: “Build Smarter Programs: Integrating Evaluation for Stronger Outcomes and Funding”. \nMany nonprofit human service agencies are expected to demonstrate impact\, yet evaluation is often added after a program is already designed\, leading to misaligned metrics\, staff burden\, and limited usefulness of data. This session will explore how to intentionally build evaluation into program design from the start\, positioning it as a strategic tool for improving services\, strengthening outcomes\, and increasing funding competitiveness. Participants will be introduced to a practical\, step-by-step framework for defining outcomes\, aligning data collection with service delivery\, and creating feedback loops that support continuous improvement. Through real-world examples and actionable guidance\, this session will help agencies move from compliance-driven evaluation to a more integrated\, meaningful approach that enhances both program effectiveness and impact storytelling. \nThe G2 Consulting Group (www.theg2group.com) is a mission-driven health and human services consulting firm that partners with federal\, state\, and local government agencies as well as community-based organizations to address complex challenges through integrated expertise in strategy\, evaluation\, and organizational development. Since 2018\, G2 has combined clinical and public health knowledge with management consulting to deliver tailored\, practical solutions that strengthen organizational effectiveness and community impact. The firm has supported a range of community-focused efforts\, including leading public health evaluations for the City of St. Louis\, advancing organizational assessment and strategic implementation for HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau\, strengthening nonprofit operations for AIDS United\, and evaluating interventions with WRMA for the Administration for Community Living to address opioid misuse among Adult Protective Services clients. In addition\, G2 helps organizations understand how evaluation is directly tied to sustainability\, as data becomes a critical tool for demonstrating impact and securing future funding. Across engagements\, G2 applies culturally responsive\, data-driven approaches that help organizations clarify priorities\, measure impact\, and improve outcomes for the communities they serve. \n  \n \nThis program is made possible by the generous support of The G2 Consulting Group\, a company that supports a range of strategic and operational consulting support with subject matter and technical experts in health and human services to empower government and community-based organizations to address critical organizational challenges through strategic planning\, organizational development\, full-lifecycle business development\, training\, and program evaluation. Our consulting expertise helps to maximize organizational impact on communities and improve financial sustainability.
