SUMMARY:NETGroup: Marketing & Communications
DESCRIPTION:AI as a Teammate\, Not a Threat\nPractical Brand & Marketing Support for Human Service Agencies \n\nHuman service agencies are being asked to do more with less. More visibility\, more clarity\, more outreach\, often with smaller teams and tighter budgets. This webinar explores how AI can act as a practical teammate in your brand and marketing work. Not as a replacement for human judgment\, lived experience\, or values\, but as a tool that helps clarify messaging\, speed up content creation\, and create more consistent communication across channels. \n\n\nThis is a no-hype\, peer-to-peer conversation grounded in nonprofit realities. We’ll look at realistic\, accessible ways agencies are using AI today to reduce workload\, stay focused on their mission\, and reach the right audiences more effectively\, without compromising trust\, ethics\, or humanity. \n\n\nYou’ll leave with a clearer understanding of where AI can genuinely help\, where it shouldn’t be used\, and how to start small in ways that actually make your day-to-day work easier. \n\n\nWhat You’ll Walk Away With \n\nA clear understanding of where AI can genuinely support your work\nLearn which brand and marketing tasks AI can responsibly help with\, and where human judgment\, lived experience\, and values must always lead.\nPractical\, low-risk ways to save time and reduce workload\nSee real\, accessible use cases for clarifying messaging\, creating content faster\, and maintaining consistency\, without adding complexity or pressure.\nA simple starting point that fits nonprofit realities\nLeave with a realistic first step for using AI in your organization\, aligned to your mission\, capacity\, and ethical responsibilities.

SUMMARY:Identifying Your Salary Target to Reach Your Financial and Lifestyle Goals
DESCRIPTION:When you are over 50 and lose your job there are often different concerns regarding the next job you take than when you were in your 30s and 40s. \nAgeism comes into play in two main ways. It may be more difficult for you to secure a job at your prior salary\, and financial planning for retirement is more top of mind. \nIdentifying your new target salary range involves a more holistic review of your total financial picture\, maximizing retirement savings\, and making informed decisions about compensation and benefits. \nIn this webinar we will discuss:\n– A holistic approach to assess your required income while aiming for work you enjoy doing and maintaining a desired lifestyle. We will discuss goals and tradeoffs as well.\n– Tools for assessing your current financial situation.\n– Scenario planning to hit your salary targets\, including tradeoffs and budgeting wisely.\n– How to strategically position yourself in the job market.\n– Exploring alternative income streams. \nNote: JVS does not provide legal\, tax or financial planning advice. There will be time for your general questions at the end of the program. \nThere will be 20 minutes of open networking with fellow job seekers after the presentation.

SUMMARY:NETGroup: Integrated JFS's
DESCRIPTION:Topic: Team building\, Recognition\, and Celebrations \nMany of us navigate the balance between participating in agency-wide recognition efforts and maintaining meaningful\, team-level culture. For example\, in some integrated agencies\, the larger organization may send an electronic birthday card with a gift to all employees. At the same time\, leaders may choose to acknowledge birthdays or work anniversaries within their own teams—perhaps through team meetings\, shared treats\, or personal gestures. Similarly\, while some agencies rely solely on a larger\, organization-wide holiday celebration\, others also host separate team or program-level gatherings. \nThis session will be a space to discuss: \n• How integrated agencies balance centralized recognition with team-level culture-building \n• Approaches to birthdays\, work anniversaries\, and milestone recognition \n• Holiday celebrations: one event\, two events\, or something in between \n• What has felt meaningful to staff—and what hasn’t \nPlease your own examples\, questions\, and dilemmas as we learn from one another’s practices and perspectives.
