SUMMARY:Marketing Yourself to Your Next Career Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Many job seekers think that finding their next job begins with answering a lot of online ads. \nWrong… particularly if you don’t like 200 to 1 odds\, which is what you’re up against with most attractive online job opportunities. And remember\, at least 70% of all available jobs are NOT advertised on LinkedIn or Indeed… they're hidden. \nDid you know that a “new product launch” and a “job search” share a great deal in common… they both require effective MARKETING to make an impression. If people don’t see the value of a product\, they won’t buy it. And the same is true of recruiting companies that are looking for a great candidate. That’s why 90% of the job search is all about marketing – positioning\, packaging\, messaging\, targeting\, promoting and convincing companies to realize that you are the best applicant that they’re going to meet.\nIn this webinar our guest speaker Marty Gilbert will show you how to approach each of these critical marketing initiatives including: \n– How to develop a personal branding statement and value proposition\n– Accessing the “hidden job market”\n– The power of effective cover letters\n– The difference between resumes and LinkedIn profiles\n– Building a target marketing campaign \nThere will be 20 minutes of open networking with fellow job seekers after the presentation.

SUMMARY:NETLab: Advanced Trauma Treatment Seminar with NATAL
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite clinicians across our member agencies to register for an upcoming NETLab specialization seminar focused on Advanced Trauma Treatment\, facilitated by NATAL: Israel’s Trauma & Resiliency Center. \nMany of our clinical professionals are trained in trauma therapy — yet very few have specialized training in collective and intergenerational trauma. As our agencies and communities continue to face environmental disasters\, violent attacks\, and rising antisemitism\, this gap has become increasingly urgent. NATAL brings deep expertise in this area given their decades of experience supporting populations living through sustained community-wide trauma in Israel. \nProgram Focus \nOver the course of six 2-hour online sessions (12 hours total)\, this seminar will help clinicians examine trauma through multiple lenses; apply evidence-based interventions across phases of trauma treatment; explore vicarious and collective trauma; and strengthen professional resilience and relational dynamics in trauma care. The format integrates theoretical presentations\, case studies\, peer reflection\, and experiential learning. \nProgram Details \nDates/Time (all 12:00–2:00 PM ET): \n\nJanuary 8\nJanuary 22\nFebruary 5\nFebruary 19\nMarch 5\nMarch 19\n\nFormat: Online (six sessions\, every two weeks) \nRegistration Fee: $250 per participant \nFacilitators: \n \nDr. Javier Simonovich is a dedicated professional with over three decades of experience in emergency preparedness\, clinical practice\, and academic leadership. Prof. Simonovich holds a Ph.D. in Social and Economic Planning from the Architecture and Urban Planning Faculty\, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (2001)\, and graduated in Social Work and Jewish Community Service in 1985 from Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles\, CA and Washington University in St. Louis\, MO. \nSince completing his Ph.D.\, he has worked in three main areas: leading social and economic community development programs across regional councils\, municipalities\, NGOs\, and the private sector with specialization in emergency preparedness and resiliency improvement; conducting teaching and social research at the Faculty of Human Services\, the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College; and providing clinical work as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist for the Ministry of Security\, Israeli Army\, and private practice. \nProf. Simonovich served as Dean of Students at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College from 2011-2018 and was Head of the Behavioral Sciences Department (10.2021 – 9.2023) and Head of the master’s Program in Social Work (since October 2023 to date) at Zefat Academic College. \n \nLimor Turkel\, MSW\, Director\, One Soul Helpline\, NATAL \nLimor manages the NATAL’s 24/7 One Soul support helpline\, providing assistance to former security forces personnel coping with post-traumatic challenges related to their service. Limor is a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and loss\, with extensive experience in therapeutic care during crises and in supervising clinical teams. She has led trauma-response programs for displaced communities\, developed tailored interventions for diverse populations\, and guides professionals in trauma-focused therapy\, alongside her private practice with adolescents\, adults\, and couples. \nLimor has a master’s in social work\, and is a certified Psychotherapist\, Sex Therapist and certified in EMDR and Prolonged Exposure. \nIf you or your clinicians are interested in deepening advanced trauma competencies\, especially through the lens of collective\, national\, and intergenerational trauma\, we encourage early registration as space is limited to 20 participants. \nPlease let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to your participation. \nFull Event Program
