The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) have announced $981 million in funding opportunities to address addiction, homelessness, mental health crises, and substance use disorders nationwide. Faith-based organizations may be eligible to participate as direct applicants, partner organizations, or subrecipients, depending on the program.

Funding opportunities include support for recovery services, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), youth and family treatment programs, child trauma initiatives, mobile crisis teams, and community behavioral health partnerships. Organizations whose existing programs align with these priorities are encouraged to explore the available opportunities and identify potential collaboration with state, local, or tribal partners where appropriate.
