Heidi Tharp is the Founder and Chief Storyteller of Story Works, LLC. She spent her career building iconic brands, including Express, Inc., SPANX, Bath & Body Works, Thirty-One Gifts, The Walt Disney Company, and Highlights for Children. With a background in influencer marketing, storytelling, and community marketing, Heidi is passionate about building authentic human connections.

Her first layoff became the catalyst for building her personal brand on LinkedIn. Her second inspired her to launch her own business, helping boutique brands tell their stories to attract clients. She is also the host of the micro-podcast, Laid Off: The Diary of a Job Hunter. Today, Heidi is on a mission to help people transform layoffs into launchpads for reinvention and meaningful next chapters.
