In 2027, PowerNET will mark The Network’s 10th anniversary, bringing our community together in Tampa Bay for a conference that reflects both the growth of The Network and the evolution of Jewish human services over the past decade. We invite professionals, leaders and partners across our sector to address the issues shaping our work today, share practices that are delivering results, and bring new ideas and perspectives to colleagues across The Network.
PowerNET, our annual conference, brings together the full Network community for learning, networking, and innovation across the human services sector.
We invite you to share your expertise at PowerNET 2027 by submitting a proposal for one of two learning opportunities: a Learning Session or Poster Showcase.
Whether facilitating an interactive learning experience or sharing an innovative program, project, service, or research through a poster presentation, PowerNET offers opportunities to exchange knowledge, highlight promising practices, and help strengthen our collective impact.

PowerNET's Learning Opportunities
This year, The Network is offering two exciting Learning opportunities at PowerNET:
Poster Showcase
Poster presentations provide a unique opportunity for deeper one-on-one conversations, networking, and sharing practical innovations.
A poster is a visual presentation format commonly used at conferences to showcase programs, projects, services, or research. During the poster showcase, presenters display a large-format poster that summarizes key information about their work/program/service in a visually engaging way. Posters may include text, graphics, charts, photos, and other visuals to help communicate the purpose, impact, and outcomes of their initiative.
Learning Sessions
Learning sessions provide an opportunity to engage larger groups through facilitated learning, discussion, and skill-building. A learning session is an interactive presentation designed to share knowledge, practical strategies, innovative approaches, or lessons learned with conference participants. Sessions may include a combination of presentations, group discussion, case examples, reflection, demonstrations, and other active learning techniques to encourage participant engagement. Attendees should leave with actionable ideas, tools, resources, or insights they can apply in their own organizations and communities.
Both formats are important ways to contribute to the conference and showcase your expertise; they simply offer different ways to share knowledge, engage attendees, and highlight innovative work.
Key Focus Areas
Our conference programming is organized around nine key focus areas that reflect the diverse work, expertise, and challenges across our Network. Each proposal should be assigned to the single focus area that best represents its primary content and learning objectives. Because many topics are interdisciplinary, the focus areas are intended to serve as a guide rather than an exhaustive list of what may be included within each area.

Preparing Your Proposal
Submission Guidelines
- Session/Poster presenters are not limited to professionals or members, but priority is given to Network member agencies. We ask that Strategic Supporters submit a proposal together with a Network member agency.
- To promote a diverse and engaging conference experience, organizations submitting multiple proposals are encouraged to submit no more than one proposal within the same focus area.
- All Learning Session presentations will be 75 minutes, including introduction by the session chair and Q&A.
- To create the most impactful learning experiences, proposals for Learning Sessions from different agencies may be paired together to foster collaboration, highlight complementary expertise, and offer participants a richer learning experience.
- There are two (2) Poster Showcase sessions in this year’s schedule. These are Poster 90 sessions, held in conjunction with our growing Sponsor Showcase. Presenters for the Poster Showcase are expected to present their posters to attendees during this time.

We encourage you to utilize this template to draft your application, then simply cut and paste your ideas into the form prompts.
